Our Vision
“I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death” Philippians 3:10

It is our VISION and call, and commitment to point the church back onto the path of making disciples. It is our passion and directive to lead Christians away from our false perceptions and into His way.

We desire to see a church committed to His purpose and poured out to His ways. Then we will see revival through real prayer and devotion to His Lordship.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105 KJV

Into Thy Word Ministries teaches people how to study the Bible in a simple, clear, and concise way, discipling pastors and missionaries, providing seminars, speaking, church consulting, discipleship tools and resources for Christian growth.

Are you the Missionary or the Mission Field?

The Everyschool Alliance - STUDENT ACTION PLAN

ARE YOU THE MISSIONARY OR THE MISSION FIELD?

You know that your friends and classmates are looking for answers, but not always in the right place.

-  Many are searching for truth, but not always finding the right source.

-  Many are longing to do something worthwhile, but not always finding the right cause.

-  Yet, whether they know it or not, they have made a choice:
They are either the missionary or the mission field.

Now, more than ever, teenagers need to hear the truth about God’s love, grace and forgiveness.  And if they don’t hear it now, most likely, they may never respond to the Gospel.

Challenge 2000 has one mission – to establish ministries of prayer, evangelism and discipleship to every middle, junior high and high school campus in America by year-end 2000.

Will you adopt at least one school, commit to pray for that school and seek to reach that school with the gospel of Christ?  Will you take the challenge?

Here’s how to start:

PRAY – Pray for God’s direction. Prayer Triplets are one great way to help you pray.  Recruit two students or adults who will pray with you three times a week.  All three of you pray for three others at school who need to hear about Jesus.  The result is that three people are praying for nine students to trust Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

ADOPT – Officially adopt a school for Christ by logging on to everyschool.com.  You may be the only one at your school or you might be one of hundreds, but don’t worry about the numbers. God will empower you to do your part.

COMMIT – Go to challenge2000.org and sign the CHRIST covenant, accepting the challenge and demonstrating your willingness to take the message of Christ to your school.

PLAN – Decide how you will get involved at your school through prayer, evangelism and/or discipleship. Before launching a ministry on campus, you may need to find out the rules about beginning a club at your school. Also, check out the Every School Plan or get information on your student rights by visiting challenge2000.org.

DISCOVER RESOURCES – Challenge 2000 has more than 300 resources to help you. You may want to begin with 1x1x56k – The Starter Kit for Campus Ministry ($1 each or .50 each, 50+). You can order any of these helpful resources online at challenge2000.org or by calling 1-888-ALLIANCE.

GET TRAINING – One of the best ways for you to have an effective ministry is to learn how to share your faith.  Ask your youth leader how to get started.  Or you may want to call the Coaching Center for free personal coaching on how to start an outreach ministry at your adopted school.  Contact them by calling toll-free 1-877-GO-CAMPUS or visit gocampus.org. Also, be on the lookout for events and conferences that can give you the training you need.

BECOME A CAMPUS MISSIONARY – Here’s your chance to make it official!  Ask your church to dedicate you as a Campus Missionary.  You can be commissioned alone or with others. It can be done before the entire church congregation or in a small youth group ceremony.  The idea is to get other people praying for you as God leads you in this mission.

PARTNER WITH OTHERS – If there are other people currently involved in Christian ministry at the same school, meet with them to discuss how you can work together in an overall strategy. Try not to get caught up in creating new programs, but stay focused on the best ways to reach students for Christ…together!

GET GOING – Now you are ready to do the work God has prepared you to do. It’s best to start simple and recruit others with similar goals. As you do this, remember to tell the world by sharing your story at challenge2000.org.

REMEMBER . . .
You are not alone! Not only do you have God going before you to do His work, you are a part of an alliance of 100,000 churches, 250,000 youth workers, 3 million Christian students, and 62 National Youth Organizations already engaged in the mission of Challenge 2000. And the movement continues to grow daily.
